LEARN
There is a particular kind of knowledge that comes from slowing down.
Not information delivered at you, but knowledge that grows through relationship, practice, and presence.
Whether you come to make something with your hands, to deepen your understanding of your
own health, or to spend time on the land and hear its teachings…you are welcome here.

Classes and workshops
Hands-on, practical, and grounded in relationship with plants. Workshops range from single-session introductions to multi-session series, and cover everything from making your own salves and tinctures to building a home apothecary, understanding medicinal mushrooms, and getting to know the plants that grow in this region.
There is particular medicine in learning about plants while standing among
them.
Some workshops are held in person on the land in Perryvale — there is particular medicine in learning about plants while standing among them. Others are offered online, bringing the same depth of teaching to those who cannot travel.
Workshop sizes are kept deliberately small so that every participant has real time with the material and with the teacher.
Workshops range from $75 to $150 per person depending on format and materials. Materials and take-home preparations are included where applicable.

Group wellness programs
Group programs bring a small cohort of people together over several weeks to work toward shared health goals in a structured, supported environment. Programs combine herbal and homeopathic education, group wellness circles, shared resources, and the particular medicine that comes from being in community with others navigating similar experiences.
Programs are offered online, making them accessible regardless of where you live. Cohort sizes are kept small to ensure genuine connection and individual attention within the group setting.
Current and upcoming programs are listed below. If nothing is currently scheduled, you are welcome to join the waitlist and be notified when the next cohort opens.

Land-based education
These programs draw on decades of experience as a cultural educator and practitioner of land-based wellness, sharing knowledge of our relationship with the land from an Indigenous perspective.
Land-based education at Two Roots includes plant walks, teachings on our relationship with the plants and medicines of this region, cultural education on Indigenous relationships with land, and medicinal and native species garden consultation and design.
These offerings are available for individuals, families, schools, universities, community organizations, and businesses. Programs are developed in partnership with the people and organizations they serve, and can be brought to your location or hosted on the land here in Perryvale.
This work is also offered through Meeting My Ancestors Ltd., Natalie’s broader cultural education practice.
