Herbal and homeopathic care takes time and skill, and it has real costs. At the same time, the people who most need support are often the people least able to pay for it. That tension is not something I am willing to ignore.
A small number of spots in my practice are held at a sliding scale rate. These spots are for people who genuinely need care and cannot afford the standard rate. There is no application and no proof required. I trust you to know your own situation.
Initial consultation

Our first appointment is where we go deep. Before we meet, I will send you intake forms that ask about your health history, your current concerns, your previous treatments, and what you are hoping for. I ask that you complete these at least a few days in advance so I have time to sit with your picture before you arrive.

Where appropriate, you will leave this first appointment with preparatory herbs or homeopathics to take for two weeks. These support the eliminatory organs, making sure the liver, kidneys, and skin are ready to handle a treatment protocol. This is an important first step that almost every client works through before our second appointment.
Remedies are additional and priced according to what is prepared for you.

20 minutes by telehealth. For existing clients with a new or urgent concern that does not
require a full appointment.
How it works
The sliding scale rate for consultations is between $88 and $175 for an initial consultation, and between $45 and $60 for follow-up consultations. You choose what you are able to pay within that range.
Formulas and remedies are billed separately at cost. I will always work with you to find preparations that fit your budget.

There are a limited number of these spots available at any time. If there is no availability when you reach out, I will let you know and add you to a waiting list.
Custom-formulated remedies
Most remedies prepared at Two Roots are formulated for the individual client. However, I do offer formulas which are prepared for common needs, such as digestive blends, to support clinical treatments. These are often preparatory blends. What I prepare for you is specific to your picture, your reactivity, your history, and how your body is responding at the time of formulation.
Remedies may include:
– Herbal tinctures, with or without alcohol depending on your needs
– Herbal teas and dried herb blends
– Capsules with custom herbal combinations
– Topical preparations including salves, poultices, and oils
– Homeopathic preparations in a range of potencies
Remedy pricing varies depending on what is prepared, the herbs involved, and the quantity required. I will always discuss costs with you before preparing anything, so there are no surprises.
Where possible, the herbs in your remedies are grown on the land where I live or ethically wildcrafted from this region. When I source beyond the land where I live, I apply the same standards: ethical, traceable, and organic where possible.
Apothecary products
A selection of plant medicines is available through the Two Roots shop for those who do not require a full consultation. These include tinctures, teas, mushroom medicines, and topicals prepared with the same care and sourcing standards as our clinical remedies.

If you are navigating a complex chronic health condition, I recommend beginning with a consultation rather than self-selecting from the shop.
Other offerings
I am Métis, and I am aware that Indigenous people in Canada face specific and compounding barriers to healthcare – financial, geographic, cultural, and systemic. Community access spots are available to Indigenous people without question.
I am also working toward a longer-term funding model that would allow me to offer care to Indigenous clients at no cost, through a partnership with a non-profit organization. That work is in its early stages. If you are interested in supporting that vision or partnering toward it, I would welcome the conversation.
